De seguida é mostrado o intro e o pyro explode dando inicio ao show. Big Show vem até ao ringue, enquanto mostram que CM Punk irá defrontar Kane num combate No-DQ no Main Event. Jack Swagger entra de seguida a protestar sobre a maneira como a WWE o tratou no Fatal 4 Way. Diz que não está contente por ter perdido o seu título e que vai utilizar a sua desforra contra Rey Mysterio no Money In The Bank PPV.
Big Show derrotou Jack Swagger por DQ. Show aplicou um forte superplex em Swagger no inicio do combate. Posto isto, Swagger aplicou um anklelock ao estilo Kurt Angle. Show agarrou as cordas, mas Swagger não quebrou a manobra e por isso foi desqualificado. Big Show teve de ser ajudado pelos árbitros até aos bastidores!
Christian, MVP & Kofi Kingston derrotaram Dolph Ziggler, Vance Archer e Curt Hawkins.
É mostrado uma cena de bastidores onde Kane fala com um caixão vazio. Ele grita que vai decapitar a cabeça do líder da SES no combate No DQ. Posto isto arremessou o caixão.
Matt Hardy derrotou Drew McIntyre. Após o combate Teddy Long apareceu no ecrã e disse, "Desculpa Drew, não ganhaste o combate. Ao que parece o teu visto expirou, e por isso alguém está no país ilegalmente." Long manda Drew de volta para a Escócia. Cânticos de "na na na na hey hey goodbye" são entoados enquanto Drew é escoltado até à saída.
Cody Rhodes veio até ao ringue acompanhado por Husky Harris. Rhodes começou por perguntar ao público qual a superstar que era mais bem parecida. Depois mostrou um gráfico com a votação onde o vencedor era ele. Rhodes pegou-se com o público dizendo que eram todos uns obesos. Fez ainda questão de "humilhar" Tony Chimel. Por fim, Rhodes auto-proclamou-se de "Deslumbrante Cody Rhodes" várias vezes enquanto fez a sua saída.
Vickie Guerrero aparece no ecrã com Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler está descontente com a relação quem tem com ela. Ele diz que está farto de dar e dar, e por isso exige um combate pelo título. "Faz com que aconteça" é resposta que Vickie lhe dá.
Kane vs. CM Punk acabou em No Conteste no combate No DQ. Kane mandou Punk contra as barricadas. Após isto a Straight Edge Society veio até ao ringue atacar Kane com vários objectos, mas Kane levou a melhor e aplicou um chokeslam em Gallows para cima da mesa dos comentadores. Punk aproveitou a situação para fugir pela multidão. Kane seguiu-o e ambos se envolveram numa rixa por toda a arena. Punk fugiu para a rua e Kane seguiu-o. Foi assim que terminou a Smackdown!

A WWE registou esta semana a patente dos direitos sobre o nome The Nexus, que ao que tudo indica, poderá vir a ser o nome da stable que reúne os ex-Rookies da NXT.
De acordo com as suasbiografias no WWE.com, Curt Hawkins e Vance Archer assinaram um contrato de full time com a Smackdown.
É de reparar também que, na bio de Archer, é mencionado que este costumava lutar numa promoção regional na Florida, antes de assinar com a ECW.
Archer, trabalhou como Lance Hoyt na TNA por diversos anos, antes de ir para a WWE.
Daniel Brian (Brian Danielson) viu hoje o seu contato com a WWE terminado. Como de costume a WWE desejou ao lutador os melhores votos para o seu futuro.
Actualização: Dave Meltzer is reporting that the firing is a "fake" firing, and that this is the first time that they have used the website to fake fire someone.
I am told that the final decision was made earlier today and Danielson was informed shortly before the company publicly announced it. For those who are thinking this is an angle, I am told by everyone I have spoken to that it is not, although I want to point out a number of wrestlers in the company do believe it is a work.
For those who are wondering why the company is giving Danielson such a harsh punishment, well a former company executive is running for office, although how much of a cause and effect is there is anyone's guess. It's certainly a viable theory, since the company has been very gun shy about going outside of their PG rating.
There's no word as to whether Danielson was aware of the protocol at the time of the angle, although the Roberts choking was one of the elements that made the end of Raw so memorable. It's interesting to note that at least on the company's Youtube.com channel, the incident, including the choke, are still available for viewing.
The loss of Danielson will immediately change the future of the WWE NXT angle since he was considered the most versatile and well rounded performer of the group and would have been extremely important in carry the brunt of the in-ring work load.
The release of Danielson does put him in an amazing position on the independent scene. How many top flight stars get signed, leave, and get released right after laying out the WWE champion?
Actualização3 - Dave Meltzer is reporting that Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) is seeking independent bookings. He apparently was given the impression that the sides could do business again somewhere down the road.
